Revenue Analyst

Reports to:                  Senior Manager, Revenue Operations

Based in:                     Ottawa, Ontario

Term:                           Full-Time

Nanometrics is currently seeking an analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. The incumbent’s primary focus will be on enhancing, supporting and administering systems, processes and controls to effectively run the order-to-cash process. This involves effective coordination between all departments in the company to ensure we execute against orders placed on the company. Trade finance, risk management and revenue planning are also major components of this role. This position ideally suits a finance professional who is looking to move into a more operational role.

  • Enhance and improve processes and controls to effectively run the order to cash process

  • Ensure orders are correctly entered in the company systems, liaise with execution departments to ensure contracts are delivered and invoiced in a timely manner

  • Revenue Planning: Prepare revenue and accounts receivable forecasts for financial reporting and ensure budgets are created to track the financial performance of contracts.

  • Day-to-day responsibility for credit, collections and payment

  • Assist with demand planning based on forecasts and firm orders

  • Risk management: Ensure Nanometrics is compliant with the commercial terms of contracts throughout execution

  • Day-to-day oversight of subcontractor management process to ensure subcontractors are qualified and remain compliant with contract terms and conditions.

  • Maintain company profiles in ISNetworld and ComplyWorks to demonstrate HSE compliance to clients

  • Perform vendor qualification for new vendors and subcontractors

  • Administration of company CRM system

  • University degree or college diploma in Business Administration (preferably with a focus in Finance or Accounting).

  • Minimum 3 years experience in business process development, contract management, auditing or accounting / finance.  Consideration will be given to both experience and education of candidates.
