Software Developer


Reports to:    Software Development Manager, Analysis Team

Job type:       Full Time

Based in:      Ottawa, Ontario

We are looking for a talented software developer with a lifelong interest in all things software who is passionate about creating elegant architectures and designs. We are partial to enthusiastic team players who enjoy working with and learning from teammates and who care deeply about creating an outstanding user experience

 

We want to talk to you if you have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or Engineering with a strong software background)

  • 3-5 years of professional software development experience in Java or other object-oriented languages

  • A track record of delivering well-designed and tested software

 
Interest and/or experience in one or more of the following would be helpful:
  • Ruby on Rails

  • Angular

  • Web application development

  • Signal processing or a general interest in Math

We believe in using the best development tools and practices. We use an Agile approach and work closely with product managers to deliver the best possible products. Our technologies and tools include: Java, Ruby on Rails, Angular, Cloud Services, PostgreSQL, Git, Jira, and Maven.

We invest in creativity and provide time for individual or team based research projects.
